details 40 Hour Domestic Relations Mediation Training
Held at Silo Auto Club & Conservancy 644 East Washington Street, Indianapolis

This Course is certified by the Indiana Supreme Court to make graduates eligible for the Indiana Registry of Domestic Relations Mediators. 40 hours in length, this training covers subject matter including legal requirements for divorce, communication skills, psychological issues, personality disorders, domestic violence and ethical considerations all in the context of helping couples reach their own agreements.
As a part of this course, each participant will have the opportunity for 10 hours of practical training in mock mediations. Each group will be individually supervised and coached by an experienced mediator. Our coaches are excellent mediators and come from a variety of mediation settings. Participation in all 40 hours of training and a Bachelor's degree is required in order to be eligible for the Registry. We would love to have you! Sign up today!

Prerequisite: 40 Hour Domestic Mediation Training in Indiana
We will present options for setting up your mediation business, managing client information, drafting documents, and much more. Documents that will be discussed include intake information & tracking, Mediator Agreement of Appearance, Mediated Settlement Agreements and the accompanying final documents required by the Court. As part of this course, you will write a full set of documents that you can use as mediation templates. Because of the required individual work with each participant, this class is limited to 12 participants.
